4/30/2017 Dam Gauge 1.66 Water Level 828.61 1.92 inches over the WDNR target. Kudos to the Dam management team of Kathy Fejes, Cathy Meyer and John Ryan for holding off on putting the board back in the dam. It is a good faith sign of respect for those in areas where the shoreline becomes soggy. This gives hope there is a chance to reach a reasonable compromise.

4/23/2018 After three straight days of 828.69, on 4/22, Kathy Fejes, Cathy Meyer and John Ryan decided to put in the 6 inch board in spite of the water level being 2.8 inches over the WDNR target. The current reading is 828.91 as of 7:41 pm, approximately 30 hours after the 6 inch board was added to the dam. THAT IS 5 1/2 INCHES OVER THE WDNR TARGET.

4/11/2018 Gauge 1.7 Water Level 828.65 6 inch board poorly installed 2.4 inches over the WDNR target
4/11/2018 Gauge is 1.7 Water level is 828.65. There were ROCKS and a TREE LIMB above the stop log upon arrival. Water has gone up one half inch in one day. Rock and Tree limb were removed. 6 inch board is still in while water levels continue to climb. We are now 2.4 inches above the target and Kathy Fejes, Cathy Meyer and John Ryan show no intention to abide by the WDNR directive:
"the expectation was that the Lake District would operate the dam at the historic normal – or average – water level NOT at the maximum water level. Historically, there has been a range because it can be challenging to operate dams at a fixed level given weather conditions (drought or flood). But again, the dam should be operated to maintain the normal/average water level to the best extent possible. "

4/10/2018 Gauge 1.66 Water Level 828.61 1.3 inches over the WDNR target . There are Rocks on the Dam board
4/10/2018 Gauge 1.66 Water Level 828.61 Note someone has put rocks on top of the 6 inch stop log. Even though these are not all the way across the stop log, this effectively reduces the room for water flow over the dam.

4/7/2018 Gauge 1.6 Water Level 828.55 READ THIS ONE It's a stick in the eye to the WDNR
4/7/2018 Gauge is 1.6 with water level of 828.55. THE 0.229 BOARD HAS BEEN REMOVED AND THE HARDWARE FROM THAT BOARD WAS INSTALLED ON THE LAST 6 INCH BOARD THAT HAD BEEN IN THE MEYERS GARAGE. THAT 6 INCH BOARD WAS POORLY INSTALLED AND HAD NOT YET TAKEN FULL EFFECT AT THIS READING. Kathy Fejes, Cathy Meyer and John Ryan are now managing the Dam.

4/5/2018 Gauge 1.52 Water Level 828.47 Small Log (0.229 ft or about 2 3/4 inches) was put in after this reading due to rapid decline and no rain in the forecast. NOTE: KEYS WERE GIVEN TO KATHY FEJES ON 3/31. THIS IS MY LAST ADJUSTMENT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE At this time the Water Level is approximately 0.24 inches OVER the WDNR target.
