4/11/2018 Gauge 1.7 Water Level 828.65 6 inch board poorly installed 2.4 inches over the WDNR target

4/11/2018 Gauge is 1.7 Water level is 828.65. There were ROCKS and a TREE LIMB above the stop log upon arrival. Water has gone up one half inch in one day. Rock and Tree limb were removed. 6 inch board is still in while water levels continue to climb. We are now 2.4 inches above the target and Kathy Fejes, Cathy Meyer and John Ryan show no intention to abide by the WDNR directive:
"the expectation was that the Lake District would operate the dam at the historic normal – or average – water level NOT at the maximum water level. Historically, there has been a range because it can be challenging to operate dams at a fixed level given weather conditions (drought or flood). But again, the dam should be operated to maintain the normal/average water level to the best extent possible. "
